For me, the underlying message was cooking could be loads of fun.

Spiced Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
Makes 12INGREDIENTS
2 eggs1 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup sunflower oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 cup butter
4 ounces cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
Candied pumpkin seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the oven to 350 degrees.Add the pumpkin puree, oil, and vanilla. Blend until thoroughly combined.
