No wonder that in this recipe it needs the additions of cinnamon and berries and jam! <br />There is so much flavor in rolled or other less processed oats that oatmeal from them needs nothing more than water and a little salt [yes!] for the cooking - cook patiently in a pot or in the microwave oven. Then stir in a little more salt and butter and milk before eating. Sugar hides the delicious grain flavor.Rochellenoreply@blogger.com
